1. Who we are
Gulf Nurse (“we”, “us”, or “our”) provides a nursing exam practice application and related website. For privacy questions, contact support.gulfnurse@gmail.com. The app is associated with the package ID com.gulfnurse.app. The responsible publisher should ensure its legal operator details are available to users where required.
2. Information we may process
The app stores preferences, practice progress, test history, bookmarks, and profile details on the device. The current code also supports optional Google sign-in and synchronisation of profile/progress-related records to Firebase Firestore when a user is signed in. Support messages sent by email contain the information you choose to include. Confirm all fields and third-party SDKs against the release build before publication.
3. How information is used
Where applicable, information may be used to provide app functionality, maintain security, respond to support requests, diagnose technical issues, improve reliability, and meet legal obligations. Any additional use must be disclosed accurately and supported by an appropriate legal basis.
4. Local storage and third-party services
The app stores learning preferences, progress, test history, and bookmarks locally. When you sign in with Google, the app can synchronise supported profile and learning records using Firebase services. Google and Firebase process information under their own terms and privacy notices. Verify the exact Firebase products and any additional SDKs enabled in the release build.
5. Sharing and disclosure
We do not describe third-party sharing here as absent or present until the app’s SDKs and backend have been audited. Disclose service providers, legal disclosures, and any other sharing that actually occurs.
6. Retention and deletion
Local records remain on the device until cleared or the app data is removed. Cloud-synchronised records may remain associated with your account until deleted. To request help with account or cloud-data deletion, email support.gulfnurse@gmail.com from the account email and describe the request. The operator must verify and document the actual deletion process, backup retention, and any legal exceptions before release.
7. Children
Gulf Nurse is intended as an educational tool for nursing exam preparation, not specifically for children. The operator should confirm the intended audience and applicable age-related requirements before publishing.
8. Security
We aim to use appropriate safeguards for information we process. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. Describe only controls that are actually implemented.
9. International transfers
If information is processed or stored in another country by the operator or service providers, explain the relevant transfer arrangements and safeguards as required by applicable law.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app changes. The published version should show its effective date and explain how material changes will be communicated.
